We developed a streamlined user-friendly intranet for Ideal Standard that allowed its global workforce to effectively communicate and engage with each other.

Overview

Ideal Standard is Europe's leading manufacturer of bathroom fixtures. Based in Belgium, the company provides cutting-edge designer bathroom furniture to customers around the world.

Ideal identified that their existing intranet was largely underused and needed improvement. Soak worked closely with Ideal's in-house team to deliver a robust, engaging solution that would improve internal communications and be easily adopted by their global workforce.

Objectives/Approach:

The new intranet needed to allow employees to communicate, collaborate and share information at worldwide level. This vast information hub would house a wide range of content from general company news and event schedules relevant to all staff, right through to high-level financial information accessible to certain personnel.

The new platform needed to consolidate this information and integrate data that was only previously accessible on separate systems onto one central solution, powered by BEA's Aqualogic CMS.
