Jumbo 24

We produced a series of user centric design templates that improved the sales funnel for a new classified advertising website.

Overview

Archant wanted to ensure that their new innovative Jumbo 24 classified advertising portal worked from day 1.

The site allows users to create and purchase a unique combination of both online and traditional print ads that can be displayed in multiple publications.

To ensure that revenue streams were maximised, the site needed to effectively convert 'enquires' into 'actual bookings' across an extremely wide and varied target audience.

Objectives/Approach

Working closely with Archant and software providers Wave 2, Soak produced a series of design prototypes that were tested to ensure a smooth and seamless user journey that effectively guided users through the online booking process.

The final design solution also made good use of Interactive mapping, clear labelling and various JavaScript call outs to further improve usability. All templates were standards compliant, accessible and browser tested, ensuring a smooth and painless integration with a third party software platform.

Results

The new platform is currently being trialled across London and will be rolled out nationally later in the year.
